Dallas DSM Cruise

Just thought I'd post up and let you guys know that a bunch of us Dallas DSM guys are going to be going on a cruise this coming Saturday, November 18, just for the heck of it We'll be meeting up at the Starbucks in Allen at the corner of Bethany and Hwy 75.

We would like to meet up between 8:30 and 9:15, plean to be on the road between 9:15 and 9:30. We'd love to to have more people along with us, I know a few of you guys have been on this same cruise route with us before, its the same route I've done in previous years for the Toy Run.

We will end the cruise at the Hooters in Mckinney for a late lunch. Here is a link to our thread if you guys need any further details:

I will give you guys a quick warning now, I haven't been on this route since I took the toy cruise out last year, so there might be a few unexpected contruction areas or something, but we'll deal with it as we go. Also, for those of you that value your paint, just be sure to give yourselves enough room between you and the car in front of you, some of these roads have been known to throw up some nasty rocks

See y'all Saturday morning!

Yes the rocks were pretty bad last time. My front end looked pretty bad after. A little tape might be a good idea...

Couple more reminders!

Please show up at the Starbucks in Allen with a full tank of gas. Our halfway point will be at a large gas station, but I know we will all be driving spiritedly and would hate to have someon run out of gas in the middle of nowhere. The cruise route alone is a little over 100 miles of driving.

If you guys have any 2 way radios, please bring them for a "Just in case" type of situation. I currently don't have any myself, but will be going out in the next few days to see if I can't purchase myself a decent radio to have on hand. I'm not sure about other people's cell service but we get pretty far out in BFE and I know my phone tends to lose all signal. I would be happy to give any of you guys my cell number however if you wish to keep it on hand as well.
