Hey y'all. i just bought my Evo IX SE. It's on the truck and i won't have it before tomorrow, but would y'all mind if i came out and watched? How does this kinda thing work? Forgive the ignorance... when it comes to track events, I'm a real newb.

anybody want to explain whats wrong with my car? here's the symptoms:

To start off, normally if you shift fast when racing from any gear to another, you hear this loud pop and the car jerks(i think it's normal). Well now, my car does that way too often. It happens when i press the gas at an rpm where it's torquey. The sound comes from the front passenger axel area and I'm not sure if it's normal.

Anyone?

 

Not sure... my guess would be a backfire. Back passenger axel? Come out tonight, maybe we can figure it out.

 

not sure if id drive that far and have to tow it back... but i got a new bosch 02 sensor and maybe you could take a look at my car with ecuflash to see if everything is ok. And do you think you could set the boost limit to the max?
