Hey I drive an OZ as well but am always down for checking out Evos. I'll come out as well, it's only a few hours away.

 

Getting a hotel room this week. Is this event for sure? Can we post up a list of who is going?

 

I'm down...will work on helping set up location for the car meet/show.

I think it would be sweet if all of the "out of towners" stayed at the same hotel. I'm not sure where you wanted to stay, but if you make a decision please post the name and location of your choice.
It would help if we knew where the car show was and where we would be starting the run from. Can someone please provide those details?

 

I was thinking about staying at the Hyatt downtown, but I may just make the drive in the morning and then come back up the next day for the Hill Country Drive.

 

I don't have the map on me for the run , but that has been finalized as well as midnite madness at SAR on Sat. night.

Still trying to nail down a location for the car show on Sat. Feb. 17...I'm going to see if the Hooters on la frontera/I35 (Round Rock) will let us meet there from 2ish to 6. Will let ya'll know..

Yeah so is eveyone going to stay the night on the 16th? That way we can be at MZM by 9 am.

I am even down for sharing a room if I come alone. I looked and the Marriott wants like $120 for the cheapest rooms.

 

i'll be staying at a friends house in austin. she lives off of riverside, so these places are on the north side of austin?

Most all the event will be in the NW of Austin, except the track event. The 1/4 mile track is at San Antonio Raceway . Its really not in San Antonio more like Seguin area.

 

Make sure you lock your doors and set your alarm.

There are tons of hotels on 35 for everyone else who is looking for somewhere to stay.

 

Will there be a new thread when all the details are finalized?

 

The free rate is the best rate. I will let you know this week if I decide to get a room or not. If I do you are more than welcome to stay. Just becareful I sleep walk naked.
