Actually, that truly sounds badass if we could get away with it.

I was down at Surfside last year and hand-timed some acceleration runs in the sand. I got 0-50 in about 6 seconds. Tip: roll up the windows before trying it.

I'm not ready to divulge anything yet. Please be patient as it WILL happen. I'm sorry I haven't provided any updates recently. Just been busy gettingg the car back together. More soon.

maybe have a meet in DFW.....go out to lake for BBQ then hit up the 1/8th mile track in Sanger,Tx.

that is a good idea but I think if we had a beach meet by the coast that would be so awesome. just the idea of having evo's and a couple of sti's there would be awesome.

I've been working on the details and schedule of events. In an effort to try and please as many people as possible, I'm presenting to you a TENTATIVE list of events. Again these are just a FIRST PASS and I'm very open to changes.

Friday: Meet and Greet (@ resturant of choice)
* Cover weekend schedules
* Review Track/Tech Requirements
* Pool Tournament @ Paradise Pool
* Possible get together with local street scene
Saturday: Meet at Cabaniss Raceway
* Tech Inspection/Rules review
* Time Attack Event (Two Catagories)
* BBQ
* Car Show @ A&W starting at 6-7pm
* Port Aransas Party
Sunday: Breakfast
Beach Run to Bird Island Park
* Park has asphalt parking (no sand or salt on the cars)
* Showers and concessions available

Still working on dates with the people that run the track. I'm shooting for June 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

Let me know what you think. I've got hook-ups on several different hotels and can get a group rate. You guys are going to love Corpus Christi!
