I'm going to be getting a KevinD tune on my IX as soon as my Boost controller arrives, didn't you put down over 300whp and 300wtq with your mods?

 

yea i made like 337 hp and 330 tq at 22 psi

 

Wow, I had no idea that we had such a good local tuner. I've been out of the loop for a few months.

 

+1 for Kevin. He did a nice quick boost gauge install for me last weekend.

 

^ glad it worked out alright its always important to take your time on everything and do it right the first time, as i'm sure the previous shop working on your car is now doing that is certainly one of the craziest stories I've heard.

on what kinda dyno do you tune kevin?

 

i road tune. i use datalog lab to give dyno plots. it is calculated from the RPM/gear ratios/tire size/wind resistance and approx weight of the vehicle. its great for before and after results, but i haven't had the chance to compare it side by side to real dyno results yet.
