San Antonio Roll-Call
I lost a couple of transfercases out there and a clutch. I had an 03 and they tend to have more problems with the TC's, since they have an open diff. The best time I ran at the track was a 12.3@105mph. My mph never would add up to my Et's. I think something else was wrong with the car, just could never figure out what that was. My mods were 272/264 Cams, TBE, MBC@22psi, and a Power FC. I need to take my current car out for a run. It is more of getting the power to the ground in this car then actually having the power. Currently I am starting to have a problem with traction in third gear, so all of 1st and 2nd gear are spent bouncing off the rev limiter, so it will be mainly to see what kind of mph I can pull out of it.
well guys the meet starts up around 715 ish most the evo guys get there at 8pm.. but ya thursdays we meet up there.. and fridays biffs has kinda died out and there is a new meet at luckys burger over there by nw military hwy.. im not exactly sure where it is or if its still going on but ya u guys should definately head out some time... last week and the week b4 we had a turn out of about 50-60 cars/bikes

I'm at the point where I'm afraid to push it too much at the track for fear I'll ruin the TC, tranny or diff. We need to go on a quite night when they won't kick me out for running under 11.5.
I will be very careful because I've added a few whp since then, about 100 whp.

I go out there every other weekend. I race a mustang with my father. I have never raced my Evo. I will probably do it later this fall/winter when the air is nice and dense. Kind of afraid to launch the car and ruin the clutch/tc. I have TBE, dropin K&N, MBC, and Precision R tune (that you recommended me to a few months ago). I dramatically increase the performance. I used to have a SRT4 too. It was a fun car.

I have heard about the alky kit but don't really know too much about it. I don't really want to mod my Evo to the point where I can't put it back to stock in less than 4 hrs in case I need to take it to the dealership for warranty work. That's why I didn't get the cams installed. I'll have to look into the alky kit and talk to some people with it.
