NTEC Monthly - 6/19, 7:00pm
Hey everyone...it's time again for the monthly! NTEC will meet at the Spring Creek Barbecue near 183 and Belt Line in Irving at 7:00pm.
Address:
3514 W Airport Freeway
Irving, TX 75062
(972) 313-0987
Directions:
From the Arlington area, take 183 East and exit Belt Line Road South. As you exit 183, Spring Creek is to the right on the service road. You will need to turn in quickly after you exit.
From the Dallas area, take 183 West and exit Belt Line Road South. After exiting, you will loop around to the right and merge onto Belt Line headed south. After you pass under 183, Spring Creek will be on the right. You will need to pass the Chevron and turn into the Lowe's parking lot. The restaurant is to the right, across the parking lot from the Lowe's storefront.

There is no need to RSVP as we will have plenty of private seating space for our group. Guests are welcome as always!
See you all there!

Maybe the price is because Shep felt sorry for you and put the dog box gears in your transmission for a great deal.
I'll be at the Show & Shine on Saturday, but will be in San Diego all week on business. Unfortunately, my car will still be on the lift waiting for the preventative transfer case rebuild to come home from Shep. But the good news - we found the "drive train jump" problem was a missing rear motor mount bolt. It seems to have vibrated loose and eventually fell out. I guess that's what can happen when you run lots of polyurethane bushings and stiff springs for daily driving.
Things should be all set for fun at the next autocross at the TMS road course on July 15. Mark

$5K! holy cow! I'm ordering my upgraded internals today. If I show up to the meet, I'll be in the Civic again.
