I need help in houston please car slow

I just bought a 2003 evo and well the service engine light came on.Luckily it was the bad front o2 sensor and thats been taken care of.But thats not my concern.The car is runnin slow as hell. When I hit 5000 rpms thecar shakes back and forth. Could someone please help me with advice or if its possible come meet me in houston texas.I just to know whats wrong.Im a noob when it comes to these cars.Someone help.I only have about500 to fix it i need to know how to fix this asap.

So you put it in 1st gear and when you reach 5000 revs? it begins to shake?

Is this after or before you push the clutch to switch to the next gear? If so what gears? How fast are you going?

we need some more details.

ok so i usually dont change gears that high in 1st but in 2nd gear and third i want to go faster but the fast never comes when i get into about 5 rpms thecar starsshaking back and forth.I usually dont start bringing it into the higher rpms until around 2nd or third gear

check your spark plugs,maybe you dont have the right gap it happened to me one time when i put a wrong gap on my spark plugs when i changed it.

no the gaps are right i double checked them when i changed the o2 sensor.

I'm driving usually to around 3000 rpms and then i shift. But i try to drive fast and well it doesnt pick up.I hear they should hit 0-60 in 5 secs and well mine does it a hell of alot slower.

Are you boosting at all? Do you have a boost gauge to verify? Maybe you have a leak somewhere causing you to take FOREVER to get at higher speeds..lol

thats what i was thinking but no i dont have a boost gauge and i dont know how to measure it otherwise
