i once made it from amarillo to lubbock in an hour but that was driving about 100mph the whole way
BTW I advise against this...my wife is from the Lubbock area and that has to be the drunk driving capital of the world (west Texas in general, not Lubbock specifically). I have had to dodge cars that drifted into my lane going the opposite way more than once.

I guess I'm the lonely one here along with two other evos in Clovis, New Mexico! We just had two other guys leave the state since they are military... What a lonely world...

i'm another west texas evo owner. i'm from odessa, texas!

i'm really not to sure how far amarillo is but i'm not too far from lubbock. my car is almost ready and i'm also going to check out the track in lubbock. we no longer have a track so i believe lubbock is my closest option.

I don't know if certain days are set in stone, but the schedual says tomorrow night(sep, 29th) is test n tune from 7-11 pm. I think amarillo is a just a little close to lubbock than midland/oddessa. Lubbocj is right between the 2, as in amaraillo is direclty north of us, and midland/odessa is kinda south of us.

There are a few of us in Clovis. Occassionally we'll make a road trip out to Amarillo/Lubbock. Though can't wait to get back from my deployment to drive my car!

haha.. funny thing is I own all you guys in Clovis .... As for seeing Evo's from NM at Idalou I've been the only one I've seen. Our scene really is depressing here, hope we can all make it to the track though for sure.

By the way my best was 13.4 @104 with a horrible 60ft @ 1.8, with only a 3" TBE, drop-in K&N and boost controller with NO tune on shotty 91 octane...

See you guys soon...
