Cams, Cam Gears, MBC, ECU+, etc..

I sold my EVO and need to get rid of some parts.. If I need to ship something- shipping will be extra.

For Sale in the DFW area:

Pair of Comp Cams $300
These are the "272" cams. Part No. 119-202-8E (exh) and 119-201-8I (int)
I have the Cam cards with all the specs.. in box but used.

Pair of HKS Cam Gears $250 (for both)
This is the updated HKS cam gears.

i'm thinking of getting the 264/272 combo...are the 272/272's better?

I really enjoyed the 272/272s. I actually drove up to Forced Performance in McKinney and they suggested these cams to me. They idle w/o any stumbling- they don't stall in traffic and they definately bring on the boost and power. These can be used well in road racing or drag racing.

ok..am i required to replace my cam gears with that to get the best tune out of my car?

These cams idle and perform well with stock cam gears. I actually ran around with the HKS gears set to 0/0. If you want to move the powerband up a little bit to gain more high-end power then you may want cam-gears. You will sacrifice idle quality slightly though. if you decide to go with a larger turbo later- cam gears would allow you to get more power and better idle.

Cams and cam gears have about 1500-3000 miles or so on them. I don't know the exact mileage.. but I didn't even drive long enough on them to get an oil change... so low miles.

Wow.. $125 /ea for a brand new HKS cam gear is a steal.. go for the new ones! Seriously..
