KevinD's new project
yup, stock block and head. get this, 30psi with stock head studs too
i have the ARPs just in case i get coolant overflow, so we'll see.the good news is i got all the t-bolt clamps on and successfully boosted at wastegate pressure tonight... 16psi
not a single pipe popped off either
i do have a exhaust leak and some major boost leaks though. the meth nozzles aren't sealed well enough so i think i'm going to have some bungs welded in. the exhaust leak i need a gasket for.

I got a new welder if ya wanna use it
well, tuned it for 20-21psi on pump even with the boost leaks and exhaust leak. i went through a 1/4 tank of gas really quickly
spool-up is a lot quicker then i thought it would be. i'm hitting full boost by 4500 rpm. not bad for a 2.0L with a 35R once i get my meth tank mounted again, then i'll tune it up for meth and see what she can do.

Now that you have a 35r Evo when someone leaves a 35r Evo with you to work on they get a good loaner
well i started tuning it with meth last night until the cops shined their spotlight on me while i was in a parking lot with my lights off flashing the ecu. i think the open dump at 12:15 at night made them aware i was in the area...
regardless, i was showing about 379whp on pump at about 20-22psi according to my DLL. with the meth i haven't gotten a number yet but at 28psi my spark plugs were breaking up. i fixed that this morning and it feels very strong... i should be able to increase the boost to 30+ psi and hoping for 450+whp. not bad for stock block, stock head, stock studs... oh, and this is all with my high flow cat in too
i still have to pass emmisions testing this week so i need to fix the boost leaks and exhaust leak. the flange and gasket for the exhaust leak is on its way already.
hopefully i'll be able to get a before and after DLL plot up shortly.
