They are mostly Evo drivers, many of them Don Herring customers, there are still some slots open when they are full I will remove the "Buy Now" link from our web site and will allow a cople of alternates to sign up just in case someone drops out. Apex Driving School is providing the driver training. Until then come to the NTEC meetings every 3rd Tuesday at Spring Creek in Irving

Is it your first time at a track? If so, use whatever is on your car now. And turn the boost down

I'm going to try those Re-01Rs next, I think that you would be disappointed with the other selections that you mentioned. I've run two sets of the Falken 615s, and they are pretty good...

yeah i narrowed it down the RE050A PP and the 615s, just doin more research but i think the 615s might win on price, but the bstone is on sale for 150/tire on tirerack.com.....i think the re01r will wear to fast for what im lookin for...and whats brake pads? hawk hps or hs+?

I'm on my second set of HPS, but Kelly just installed the HP+ and likes them so far, how soon do you need to make a choice on the pads?

I assume you're on the stock rim;
I ran 2 sets of 255 on 17x8.5 (stock rim 17x8) (615 and KDW2)
both performed great until I took them to the track.
They were too wide under track conditions, regardless of the air pressures.
Mitsu knew what they were doing when they had Yoko build 235s,
they are the best size for high performance response and handling.
although, you'll lose some accel unless you go to a wider rim/tire match-up

Pads: Its been a quest to find something for street/MSR(harder'n most tracks)
I'm always up for learning something new, improving my driving style...
but I seem to have a continual pad deposit problem on my rotors. I over heat the pad and that leaves material on the rotor which feels like a warped rotor.
Recently i switched to HP+ on the street and track. So far, they have not squealed, and have worn thru the prior pad deposits left from the Ferrodo2500.
that makes me optimistic for the track, but they are wearing the rotor more rapidly too....
Haven't used them heavily on the track yet, I've been playing w/Miata
