Blown up Silver VIII in Sugar Land
So I was at my favorite tire shop (First Tire & Automotive, Greatwood) in Sugar Land last night getting some new Bridgestone RE-01R's put on my Evo
. Anyway, my buddy there Evan starts telling me about this Evo they have in the back. Apparently the owner put the timing belt on wrong, and it jumped several teeth. I went in the back and took a look. The valves were folded in half "like a taco shell" and the pistons were all gouged from where the valves hit them. They said the guy is dropping some serious cash to have the do a full rebuild top and bottom with imported parts.
Anyone know this guy?
BTW, you picked a good shop. These guys are honest and they love'em some cars
