Car wasn't running at full potential, and its more of a RoadRace car, so I entered in the show. Won Best Mitsubishi
Saw some quick Evos on the strip.

 

Great runs out there yesterday! I think I'm finally warmed back up!

Congrats to OKIX, I saw him make 3 10.6 passes, so he was running pretty well it seemed. I ran out of batteries halfway through the day, so I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked. Here are a couple good ones that turned out.

his car was wicked nice! i got there at 9 and left around 5. it was too damn cold. my car got t boned or i would have been out playing around. as soon as it gets back up.

the evo's out there sucked at launching. i dunno if they aren't used to launching at a drag strip or just sucked in general. the blue sti out there was launching harder. the only 2 evo's who's launches were impressing me was the white one on slicks and the other white one on work emotions

Ya, in the small amount of racing I got to watch I saw a few evo's bogging pretty bad off the line. I actually had traction problems all day and once I finally got in dialed in I pulled a 1.4 60ft.

i only run regular street tires since it's my daily and i can't afford radials. last time i was at houston raceway park i got 3 runs in. all 1.73, 1.73, 1.74, 12.3, 12.4, 12.3 @ 110, 110, 110. so for what i have, at least im consistant. (pump)

next in line are green, aem, tial, 720cc's, hks dli and my first ever race gas tune. wish me luck. i would have loved to talk to you since your name is pretty widely known on here and you have a lot of experience with the turbo im dying to get my hands on. have the money finally but got t-boned. waiting on the repairs to finish.

I was hoping for my first 11sec pass until I destroyed my transfer case on my launch. Track felt really weird and my clutch bit really hard:

i had no idea that was you yousuf! you should have hit me up. when you said you had an rs, i didn't expect it to look that clean right after getting it! nice job shredding the tc lol. what did your old sti look like?
