Need in help in Austin from a fellow EVO IX owner!!

I am looking for an evo IX owner in Austin that is willing to help me out. I am trying to figure out why my car is having idling issues and was hoping someone wouldn't mind swapping out MAF's and IACV's with me just for a few minutes to see if either resolves my idling issue.

I'm in Austin by the way.

I would really, really appreciate the help.

Any takers?

Abner,
The only thing I installed were new spark plugs capped at .026 and a new front mount. I even had a boost leak test done and found nothing. Think its an o2 sensor? I don't have a CEL or anything, but it could explain the idle rpm surging you know?

What kind of idling issues are you having? Stuttering? Lower than normal rpm?

So basically, let's say I'm coming to a stop at a light, I'll put the car in neutral and coast/brake to a stop, as I put it in neutral i'll watch my wideband and it'll go pig rich aroud 10.xx or so for a second then it'll go real lean around 17.xx+ and eventually go to the 13's and eventually start to idle where it should in terms of AFR's.

All this time the idle will come up to 1200-1300 rpm and go down and come back and stay at aroudn 1100 at which point it'll eventually settle itself back down to where it shuold be around 900rpms.

Occasionally the car's rpms will drop real low around 600ish and the wideband will read very lean around 18.xx and it'll feel as though the car is about to die. that's the only time the car will stutter.

I really don't know what to make of this, but people have pointed to 3 possible problems. Either a bad MAF, o2 sensor, or IACV. The thing is that I don't have any CEL and aside from idle the car run's perfect, I mean flawless. It's just idle that sucks.

With that in mind, couldn't it really only be either the o2 sensor or IACV? Because if the MAF were off, wouldn't the car drive bad all the time during cruise, idle, etc?

Any thoughts?

OH and here are my mods if that helps at all...

WOT 65mm TB w/works seals
TBE
ETS UICP, AMS LICP

Did you get a tune after the front mount?

Yes, although I doubt that would effect it.
