my buddy just got alot of parts in and i finally got his stock intake,uicp, etc. back on so his parts can get powedercoated .but here are how his lights turned out.

 

not digging the tails but he head lights look good

are there some EVO X owners out there, I am looking at the intrest , We may be able to get some one of the great ECUtek tuners from up north to come down and tune some cars, on the Dyno. if anyone is interested let me know.

I'm still waiting on the MR before I decide. I want to at least drive one before I make up my mind about trading in the VIII

 

I traded in my VIII and let me just say this, from a straight line performance the X is slower no doubt. mine was also modified. but in every other aspect the X is sooo much better. ride quality, handling, interior, fit and finish, sound inside the cabin, cruise control. currently I am making the modifications to gain back any power I lost and so far with tuning most evos are well over 300hp on the dyno. should make for a very sweet 12 sec car that is a great DD.

Hey what's up everyone. I just got back from a little cruise from McKinney down to Plano, then up to Frisco via Preston, then on back to McKinney. Just checking what's up.

I saw a Civic with no front bumper and an intercooler. He got on it hard and it sounded like a turbo diesel spinning up followed by the sound of cha cha cha cha chaaa.... when he let off. No BOV? Interesting.

Anyway.. not much else going on. I'm guessing I'll go rotate my tires and while I have the wheels off, I'll clean the inside of them and get that old balance weight gunk off them. I hate looking in there and seeing that. Ya know?

I'll try to make it out to BJs in Plano this Monday for the weekly ricekiller meet.

Been trying to figure out how I'm going to afford prepping my car for STU class autocross. Seems like anytime I start to get some money saved up something comes up and I have to use it for something else. I guess that's life. Coilovers, wheels, tires, a few more bolt-ons. Mksevo, you say "So many MODS so little TIME," I say "so little cash!" I'm guessing $5000 will be what I need to get what I need. Any businesses out there want to sponsor an Evo in autocross? Hah.

Oh.. one last thought. Now that "Evo Someday" has become"Evo Now" I guess it's time to change my screen name on here.. since that "someday" has arrived two months ago. But I'm guessing that's not possible to change it. I may have to re-register with a new name.
