That price was on a 6 speed. But still high.

Not including clutch if that's what you mean, clutches alone are like $500+ (Get an RRE x-name). I think it IS including the resurfaced flywheel and I know it includes the fluids.

I had my clutch done by KevinD and his work is great and he knows what he's doing.

yeah, not including parts. resurfaced flywheels are 50 dollars extra from me, and clutches can be had for as little as a couple hundred for stock, or 500ish for ACT and on up depending on what ACT you get or twin/triple clutches.

I would just install another stock clutch. So what do I need to provide? A pressure plate and disc (assuming resurfacing the flywheel)?

$132.97 - OEM Disc (PN# MN132206) for Mitsubishi EVO VIII 5-speed. http://www.maperformance.com/mitsubi...-evo-viii.html
$139.99 - and OEM Pressure Plate http://www.maperformance.com/oem-pre...plate-evo.html

man... if you've not driven a car with an aftermarket clutch, I recommend you do so before spending the $600 in labor to replace it with another stock clutch.

Unless you're gonna sell the car

I know that in the mustangs and vettes that I've driven with better clutches it's night and day the ability to put the power down.

I wouldn't go with another stock clutch, they're absolutely terrible.
