BAD NEWS!!!

I will not be able to get tuned by Chris this coming Sat. Seems that my supercharger belt busted and broke the tensioner pulley off. I am going to have to wait for the part to get it up and running again...

I am so sorry for such short notice..hopefully there will be someone who will be able to go in my place...

Thanks so much Josh and Chris...
I guess I am going to have to wait till next time..

mr_grand_prix dude! I am so sorry. Already running through the local machine shops that I have known to do custom pulleys for the comptech kits...

Listen, this is but a minor hickup in the grand scheme of things. As I've said before I have Chris down about 3-4 times a year so we'll get you taken care of Let me know if there is anything I can do to help as I have a lot of resources

Oh! Remember guys, make sure that your exhaust has an extra o2 bung welded in so Chris can hook the wideband into it. If it doesn't then we will have to remove your factory secondary o2 sensor temporarily and install the wideband in place of that for tuning purposes. If this is going to be the case and you don't have an extra o2 bung in the exhaust then please spray the the factory o2 with some penatrant like wd40 or some deep creep, break it loose, with the appropriate o2 wrench of course, and apply some copper antiseize to the threads so that everything goes smoothly for us when we install the wideband. If you do have an extra bung then please do the same and break the plug for it loose, apply some 2000* copper antiseize, easily found at NAPA btw, and just tighten it back down to about 20 ft/lbs

I would just like to thank everyone for their cooperation and understanding. It's refreshing to have such events free of the ever growing amount of trouble makers popping up in our local community. The way things are set up currently have really proven in past tunes to make things as efficient and smooth running as possible.

Take care,
Josh

Bump! We just had our friend from the Subaru camp request to move his tune from 8am on Sunday to the uber early spot of 7am tomorrow, Saturday.

Now would you Sunday guys like to move things to one hour earlier or would anyone like to take pwidsten's original slot of 8am on Sunday???

If not then we can just start at 10am with the schedule as planned. The earlier we get done on Sunday, the better as we have a side project scheduled for that evening.

Thanks guys,
Josh

Ok guys, I really have to ask that you not bring all of your friends or other cars not involved. I ask this because it is quite hot during the days and tempers seem to fly. I had to avoid a full blown fight with another member's friend today while I was working on a car. I have to say that incidents like these really put the whole car thing into perspective. Remember, there are many, many more important things in life.

Thanks,
Josh
