May Autocross and Time Trial Events in DFW
May Autocross and Time Trial Events in DFW...
For the autosports enthusiasts amongst us, here is the list of autocross and Time Trial Events for the Month of May in the DFW area. I will try to make at least one of these events in my Evo this month. Maybe I'll see some of you out there. All cars of all types and classes are invited to each of the events. Most of the events you can sign-up and pay online. Typical fee is about $35 to $40 for the event.
So come on out and test your driving skills in a safe environment. If you've never tried it before, I highly recommend it. You will be hooked! Feel free to ask me any questions you may have if you're interested in getting started or trying it out.

So did anyone go this past Sunday's SCCA Autocross in Mineral Wells?

I am kind of new to the area really not familiar with where these events are held and how they are ran, i definelty would like to go to a meet but wanna get some feedback on which ones are the best out here, recommendations??

Hope all of you are coming to MotorSportsRanch this Saturday.
I guarantee more seat time than a season of autocross events.

Mineral Wells Airpark. I will be there tomorrow morning - Sunday - bright and early. 8 AM.
Come on over, pay your fee, and give it a go. Most people I know get hooked after the first time - myself included. It's a great way to drive it hard in a safe environment with the spirit of competition.
For those who don't go, I'll post the results tomorrow. Hopefully I will finish within the top 3 places in my class. We shall see.

Well, I do regret not being able to go to the Don Herring Track Day. I'm sure that must have been a blast. However, I did manage to make it out to the Mineral Wells Airport today for a good time.
