I'm a newbie to these forums and since I recently got my X I was wondering if any meets, events, etc. going on in Louisiana.

Welcome to the area there is not much to do some on nosr go to the Lakefront most weekends, being that im in BR i don't make it out there good to have another evo around!!

 

What up guys... I just got a Evo IX MR.

The track you guys are asking about is No Problem RaceWay in Donaldsonville (sp) its about 20-30 west of BR in the middle of the no where.

NOLA peeps usually go to the Lakefront on Sundays evenings... this is sometime a mid point before the omonous Street races... I will not disclose where these are held... Yes the cops know... sometimes they are dicks.... I suggest going with a friend who has been and knows about the rules... that way no-one gets hurt or killed... it has happened!!

Don't mean to thread jack but where did you get your X from and would you mind telling me how much you paid for it. I'm in the market for one, but Levis Mitsu in BR is horrible.

 

Well I got mine from South Coast Mitsu in Cali. They had a good deal and the color plus options I wanted so it was the best option. Don't trust the dealers here in Louisiana.
