Ethanol-less gas?

I filled up today at a station that didn't have the ethanol stickers on it's pumps (which are required if > 1% is ethanol). The car feels much more responsive.

Is there a good source for ethanol-less gas around DFW? The station was a Chevron in Irving near Don Herring, and I'm not driving over there every time I need gas

My wife has been fighting about a 10% reduction in fuel economy in her car and I wonder if it's related to the increasing amount of ethanol in the gas.

Was it the chevron near O'connor and 183 or where exactly? I might have to go check this out...

It was the one at 183 and Story (NE corner). I looked all over the pump I was on and it didn't have the ethanol sticker on it.

It all could be placebo effect though, but reading around on some hyper-miling forums (my wife has a hybrid), it seems that some people are seeing 10-15% decrease in economy when using E10 vs. E0.

The gas station at the entry to MSR has no ethanol in their gas. Someone was speaking to them about it, and the owner felt that it was a better product, and has made the conscious decision to buy the good stuff for his customers.

excellent! I'll be over that way tomorrow for an Apex event, so I'm sure I'll need to fill up once I get ther (75 miles there!) and once when I get done
