New video of my evo and wheels

I put together a little video of my car - mainly to showcase the very cool "super brilliant coating" wheels.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlLOVfS_BdU

EDIT August 9, 2008 : By the way, I might add that these are now for sale on ebay with NO RESERVE - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...284170700&rd=1

The reason is simple. I want a dedicated set of wheels and tires for winter and a dedicated set for summer (autoX and Track). These wheels are far to pretty to make into snow tire wheels. An old set of stock wheels should do nicely for that - they don't even have to be pretty.
Snow tires? In Texas?

What state you from thar, boy?

Why don't you just keep these wheels for summer use and buy a used set of stockers for winter? I think that I could let go of a set...

I want to get a set of lightweight 17X9 for AutoX and these are 17X8.5. Also, I know I will be taking the Evo up into some snowy areas this winter and want a good snow setup.

As much as I like these wheels I really want the 17X9s and I'd hate to ruin these nice wheels on snow, ice, salt and sand. So either way they aren't exactly what I need.

So if no one wants to trade, I'll likely just ebay these things (they also fit G35 and 350z) and pay cash for some stockers and the AutoX lightweights I want to get.

PM me what you want for the stockers. Thanks.

Stock Wheels

If you're serious about trading or working something else out, I have these sitting in my garage as I was going to use them the same way that you are. I'm here in Killeen so making a short drive is not a problem. Just let me know what's up.

While polishing the wheels today, all the stickers came off. But that's ok because I think they look even cleaner now without the RP03 decal on them.

Also, I noticed a few more blemishes that I had not noticed before. So here are the updated pictures. Just wanted to make sure there are no surprises incase anyone is interested.

No Reserve!

FYI - I just decided to put these back up on ebay again. This time with NO RESERVE!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...284170700&rd=1

Remember these wheels are almost $400 each when new. The starting bid is only $650 for all four of them. That's a mere $162.50 each for a sharp looking 8.5" wide wheel that only weighs 18 pounds!
