New evo 8 owner in Austin needs help with AVCR
Hey guys I just purchased a 05 evo couple of weeks ago and was wondering if there is anyone around Austin that could help me with programming my AVCR? I have done alot of research on it and come up with so many conflicting set-ups my head is spinning... I went out today for about 2.5 hours logging and changing boost and seem to only come up with 2 results:
1. solid boost with no spikes but only to about 17psi
2. boost with no spikes but does not hold the 20psi (goes up and down)
I really only found two good right ups on the set-up of these things and each one of those results is them. as a former heavily modded eclipse owner w/EBC (not AVCR) I am getting very frustrated. it seems like once i get this thing working it is going to be awesome but i just cant get there.
Anyone? i dont mind buying a 6 pack of beer or something

I have no info but we should still meet at 620 tonight so you can ask some of the guys at the meet. Some of them just happen to be the owners/tuners at MZM which i'm sure you know them, most in Austin do. 6-7pm
The what? the who?
What meet are you talking about?
I have talked to some of the guys at MZM years ago when i had my eclipse, seem like nice guys.
I have a good friends bachelor party tonight but i am not sure what time it starts so maybe i can swing by there first.
