Arlington TX - Possible Move
Well within two years I'll be finished with my MBA and looking to start off on my own. I have been looking at moving out of SoCal Inland Empire and am trying to study different possibilities.
Some advantages I see to moving to TX is that I'll be able to afford a 3000+ sq ft house without much difficulty, housing there is so incredibly inexpensive (in comparison to SoCal). A huge disadvantage is that I don't know how I'd adjust to living in such a flat area. I enjoy living close to the mountains, Big Bear is a short 30 minute drive away, the OC beaches are just under an hour away, Disneyland is 35-40 minutes away, there is much to do in SoCal.
So now all of you from TX (Preferably the Arlington Area) what is it like? What are the advantages to living there? How is the job market for MBA graduates there? How far a drive is Dallas / Fort Worth from Arlington? Are there nicer areas to look at?
