"Most reliable compact sedan. While the Toyota Corolla may not have the style or youthful exuberance of the Honda Civic or the Honda Fit, its advantage is its best-in class reliability."

Autotrader has plenty.

2004 TOYOTA COROLLA LE, gold ext. w/tan int., auto, full power, cruise, alloy wheels, CD player, 52k miles, asking $7,900 obo, hm. 817-419-9980 or 817-714-8483 cel.

Link here: http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...r_id=252638264

That would should easily be good for another 100K miles with proper maintenance.

The original xB is a great family car.

Also the Altima makes a great car. We would get them as loaners from the Infiniti dealership and they were nice.

the civic tends to not stay where you park it in public parking lots...if you know what i mean. plus i've owned a few civics already and would like to try something different this time around.

the corollas are ok..but i'm also trying to atleast get something that's appealing to the eye. i'm leaning more on those p5's coz they look nice, wouldn't mind taking pictures of 'em with the evo , plus we can go shopping with them or picnics with the whole family and not have to take the v8 armada (we can save that car for long drives)

OK, lets see here:
- gaytezzas
- intake
- headers
- cheap ugly wheels
- ugly exhaust (tanabe?)
- lowered (cut springs? green springs?)
- aftermarket strut bar?
- trashed gas pedal (dangerous being bare metal like that)
- slushbox automagic transmission

I think that that type of car is fine, but I certainly wouldn't buy that one.

Would you buy an Evo with that junk on it? Even for $2k less than an unmolested one?

ETA: I don't know about your wife, but mine wouldn't drive a car like that. And I'm guessing with the exhaust and headers that that is one loud raspy sounding car... and she isn't going to be hauling the kiddo around in that.

You know what though? Mazda 3's are cheap and really great cars, brand new. You might go check one out before buying a $10k unknown... a $15k new 3'er is a nice ride.
