Well looks like the neon won't be going out. Something is strangely wrong with it...

Hi guys. We just finished prepping the car and putting it on the trailer. We won't be running any class tomorrow, but we hope to get a few TnT passes. Mostly just want to heat treat the new rear diff and let Tony (OKIX) get some more seat time. Look forwward to meeting more fellow EvoM'ers. See ya tomorrow.

We are ready also. Got my spare tire loaded in the trunk, with the jack. Got the child seat in the backseat. Got the boost turned down to about 20psi by remving the MBC and running straight off the HP actuator. Got my alignment and suspension all setup for the roadcourse at MSR instead of drag traction. Doing everthing I can to slow the car down to 11.49 or slower, wish me luck! Going to bring my older son Joe along (8 years old now) for the first time to watch some drag racing and see the car show and all the rest of the fun! I encourage everyone to come out whether or not their car is ready, just come!

Ran about 5-6 11.5x's today (cant go faster-no rollbar), was a freaking blast! Running the Red with a straight line from the compressor to the actuator worked perfect to limit my ET to a legal 11.50 or slower and keep me from getting booted off the track. Was a ton of fun, glad to see such a great turnout. Got my **** handed to me int he final by Glenn Twardowski, a 200whp advantage was just something I couldnt overcome at the tree and Glenn ran me down proper at the 1000ft mark. His damn NLS "shotgun blasts" kept making me thing bits were falling off my car, but it was just him hot on my bumber reeling me in.

Anyway, it was great to see Glenn run a 10.0 at 139mph after such a long time away from the car. I met a bunch of new guys today, hope we do another one of these soon!

It was a great day. I had double duties at the car show and at the track. I loved how Robert's Evo looks completely stock and kicks ***! here is the video of our semi-final run. Good to meet all you guys.
