I'll meet for a hamburger afterwards if ya'll want to set it up.
There's a place just north, or

we could see if a group wants to meet at LaGraveField to watch/ride a few runs,
(some have never ridden in an Evo-at-speed)

then head to The Stockyards a few miles north, for some outdoor Mexican food, near the train depot.
I went there for 'my first' Evo drive 5 yrs ago...what a long-strange-trip-its-been!!!!

 

Anyone's welcome to be my "screaming ballast" but be aware that I'll be videoing so if you say anything dumb it might be on the internets

 

Highly recommended to at least ride along. So if you're feeling brave and want to be at least a little bit scared -- come on out.

I'm not sure I'll be able to make it though..

 

Would SWMBO let you go if you told her you were going to the Gun Show in FW?

I told mine that and she asked me if I'd rather go race

Two can play mind games... plus I've already paid -- I know there's no way she'd force me to not go and forfeit the entry fee -- again, play the angles

As for me not going.. there really isn't any angle necessary. I think we finally have an understanding over here on this issue. Especially since I was "allowed" to go all the way to mineral wells both days really without any evil glares or heavy sighs. This time it's all about work. I'm the designated on-call and there is just no way I can get someone to cover that day.

They didn't get a picture of the most important car there that was beat by an Evo
