it was a great event! best $20 I have spent!! spun once. lots of straight aways as well.. the longest one i need to shift to fifth since if i keep it on 4th I'm on my 7800 rev limit for around 2-3 sec before i need to brake hard for a corner. i hope we have more of these track days!

Oh, I also got that dremel at homedepot, its a great tool, shaved my inner fenders down, need to see if I took enough off...I was judging the amount I needed to take off by the rubber mark of where it stopped cutting, so I hope that was decent. Haha.

I'm glad everyone had such a great time! I really wish I could have been there Did anyone get a chance to speak with the owners and see if this might be an event they will do 1 or 2 more times before Christmas?

Never thought of asking them that question. I am sure that Kelly can find out though. Thanks for letting us know about this event. It was truely a kickass time. Vids will be posted in a different thread sometime later tonight if I have time.

The track calendar doesn't appear to much help here.
I hope we can rely on EZ to notify us of future events.
He said there have been several missed opportunities already...

The owners were not at the track that weekend. And we also have a newly appointed operations director; so there are some scheduling and operational changes which have occurred in the last couple months.

But things are usually pretty fluid in the last few weeks of the year not only because of weather conditions but also because people are very non-committed to events through the holidays. We end up canceling events due to lack of attendance which can be expensive for the track to absorb.

The new ops director is pretty set on the calendar being accurate, so I'm sure it will be trustworthy going forward. I do not know yet if/when the monthly public track days will resume, but I'll ask the director that when I am able to catch up with him...

Yeah, I showed up to watch and get fuel for the Rally car but everyone was eating lunch while we were there. We waited and walked around for a little while but left because we still had a lot of work to do to the race car back at the shop. I was hoping to meet some of the EVO and Miata guys out there since I am memebers of both boards. Sorry I couldnt stick aound longer and watch you guys run. Soundslike fun was had by all, on all the car forums.

BTW, the Miata guys talk about how 'bad ***' the EVO's were. One of them even stated "I loved getting passed by the flame throughing EVO's."
