^^you should talk to him, hes a cool guy just likes to brag about his car. Hes actually not a bad guy, I get a long with him. The Subie guys flame him all the time, they are a funny group, here is where they hang out online. Lots of funny sh*t goes on there.

lol he thinks his car is a beast because he runs high 13's? I have light mods since I've only had the car like 5 weeks but damn I'm pretty sure I wont run a high 13 and when I say high it was consistent 13.8's and 9's and lets not forget the beautiful smell of burnt clutch

Hmm 20g eh? There's white wrx 4 door here that has the same turbo and got tuned by Calvin at Cobb and made 365 or 375 on pump and like 420 on race gas. My homeboy raced him in his 07 supercharged si and beat him on the highway by a fender. The guy was kool though , this Pedro guy not so much.

 

I'm just sweatin' the transmission.

With a 300 (or so) ft-lb tq limit, I am looking at almost $5,500 to beef up the transmission, then there is still the issue of slippage (clutch packs opening up under WOT).

My goal for the car right now is breaking and handling, push it to around 300-320 whp with matching torque, to be completed by next summer.

After that I am looking at another deployment which should give me more than enough cash to beef up the tranny and add more power. Hopefully by then they will have the transmission ecu programming figured out.

I really want to make a good sleeper out of it, right down to the stock wheels, we'll see.
