Ft Hood Evo Check-in

Also, any route suggestions? I live in leander.
You guys meet every friday? I was considering driving up there tomorrow (6/4) just for the schlitz. The evo I just bought was apparently previously owned by someone from killeen. Would be cool to meet the former owner (or someone who knew him). This look familiar?

Looks like we may have a really good turn out tomorrow.
I mentioned the meet to a guy on RKC, he's new to Ft. Hood. I guess he has 2 cars, a turbo'd Ford Focus and a Mustang.
He said he's looking to get some work done on the Stang and he'll probably stop by the meet.
I seem to recall someone here has a Terminator that's fast.
Anyway, I figured monkey might be able to point him in the right direction. I would, but I don't think Kevin D works on Fords.

thx all for the replies. Matt still around? I don't know real names vs evom names.
I saw the google maps link, didn't know if there was some magic back-route that was faster/better/funner than i35. Looks like 183 -> 138 -> 195 is an alt route, any opinions on that?

Not car related but anyone around hood have a push mower with a bag? My rider mower is too big for my new yard and need a push mower instead. Not trading just need to buy a cheap used one please anyone?
Well someone was bound to buy it, and its proximity means you'll likely see it again. And when you google "evo forums" this site is the first result. Couple that with the fact that this is very much an enthusiast car, if you think about it, it would be more surprising if this kind of thing never happened.
Sorry, that's the engineer in me talking. Enough probabilistic bull. I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

I dont know who your talking about

Yes I can point him in the right direction, but I dont know if he is willing to take the drive. I take the Terminator to Gear Heads Performance in Arlington. If he wants to keep it local the best place around here is Sunshine Performance on 38th St. I can give him more details if he comes out. You can let him know this if he doesnt make it. Here is the website to the Terminators surgeon:

again I ask who wants to go with me, lets get together and go to a real Evo meet.
