What up Rudy and Welcome, I was wondering if you were able to find us. So how is the car running? Did you fix those hick ups it had?

i've got an oil leak i can't seem to track down, a VERY ANNOYING vibration when i barely tap the throttle, and my half shaft boot is done (grease everywhere). i'm going to try track down everything that's going on with it tonight. also, i think the guy that sold it to me put power steering fluid in the control diff reservoir. anyone local? i dunno what i'm doing lol i just got out the honda game

I am leaving really early cause they want me there before 1030 to stage my car. I want to get there with more than enough time to clean it cause I know I will have bug juice everywhere from the drive. I will be leaving here 530-600am.

ok so i looked into the car and apparently it's the transfer case that's leaking making a whining sound. anyone in central tx have any knowledge on the replacement of the transfer case? i think it's coming from the nipple the guy put power steering fluid in the reservoir!!

damn are all ur acd lights on? Hopefully the evo power steering fluid is the atf used in the tranny because some manufacturers do that. To track the oil leak take some brake clean and spray the whole area down so there is no residue then let the car run and try and watch for it. You need help with the halfshaft also?

well I just looked and the power steering fluid isn't the same the atf used so its a possible that the difference in fluid damaged seals in the tcase making it leak now. I would definately bleed the whole system out and put oem mitsu atf in it that is required and hope it changes and if not you may need to take the tcase down and send it off to shep for a rebuild. How long did u have the car and does it have any warranty? how bad is the whine? is it very feint or very noticeable?

no warrant, not bad of a whine but noticeable. i flushed out the tcase with 75W-90, and then bled the system. i notice the leak is come from the axle output. not feint, but people ask if the car's supposed to do that. thanks for your input

hmmm if u come out to the meet friday I would like to go for a ride and listen to c how loud it really is. Sounds like it is just the output seal leaking and if thats the case maybe there is a way to get to it without dropping the tcase.
