Which one did you get? I placed my order for the Euro Export one yesterday - http://www.euroexportinc.com/store/t...ompressor.html. What I'm pondering now is how to maintain tension on the timing belt while the cams are out. I'm feeling some tension cords attached to the hood should be more than adequate.

Same one. I believe they zip tie the cam gears. It shouldn't affect the tension.

Okay. Tentative Plan -

Lock Both Gears.
Remove Intake Cam Gear.
Remove Intake Cam.
Change springs on cylinder 1&4.
Place new intake cam in with end caps only.
Attach Intake Cam Gear.
Remove Exhaust Cam Gear.
Remove Exhaust Cam.
Change springs on cylinder 1&4.
Place new exhaust cam in with end caps only.
Attach Exhaust Cam Gear.
Unlock cam gears.
Rotate 2&4 to TDC.
Repeat to install springs on 2&3
Bleed all lifters.

Sounds more tedious than it actually should be. Kevin tossing us a basemap to sneak up to Dallas on the cams for a full tune, that's the only outstanding variable.

I spent a couple hours removing my intake manifold today to delete the EGR system properly, you know, tapping and plugging the head, only to find the previous owner did that. I don't know if I should be pissed I wasted my time, or glad that he did it for me. Time for a beer.
