I second the motion, HAPPY NEW YEARS south side, NTEC, and what the heck Dallas imports. You all be safe out there and I look forward to what 09' has in store regardless of our current sucky economy.
I celebrated my girls b-day party last Saturday and last night. My savings account hates this time of the year because it's like a double wammy with Christmas and her birthday just five days later

sometimes it's good to remind everyone that while we're all back home enjoying the party we have people like you out there making sure we enjoy the party
not in the military anymore.. i was in the Navy but now just working on oil/gas platforms in the gulf.. i appreciate though.. and the same to all the military men and women as far as i'm concerned.. thanks guys
Hey guess how the celebrate new years here in hilly billy back woods oklahomo?
They get reaaaaaaaly drunk and then drive their 4x4 trucks out into someone elses land and start shooting stuff at 1:30 am.
Not fireworks... but guns, shotguns, rifles, pistols.
The 2 yo slept right through it, but I was up praying that a bullet didn't come flying through the sky at us.
Nothing like new years in Venezuela though... people shooting "tumba-ranchos" out their apartment windows (so don't stick your head out the window or over the balcony if you were above them because they could hit you in the head!). A tumba-rancho basically looks like an "ACME" supplied (you know, the company that supplied Wil-e-Coyote all his stuff) rocket on a stick. Basically 1/4 stick of dynamite on a stick in a rocket. It was like getting shelled for about 6 hours. All the dogs would be scared shirtless the whole time. Good times lol.
