Sound proofing in south region

anybody have sound proof mats in their car? I want to put something on so I can talk on the phone easier and listen to my musics.

Planning to get several of these stuff
Seal and Peal
FatMat
eDead mat
spray on exhaust + heat wrap dp

BUT they are all asphalt material and Texas gets hot in summer.
Anybody have these sound proof mats in their car?
Hows the smell in summer in south region?

I've never researched any of this, but
my Miata came with some dyna mat stuck to the underside of the trunk
its starting to peel off and its suprisingly heavy stuff, but
it has no odor at all
i've heard its expensive, but don't know how it compares to other materials
stereo stores sell a lot of choices i'm sure

I have used the generic asphalt mat in an older truck and after a couple days the smell went away.

I have a can of eDead you can have (never been opened). I put it on the doors and trunk of my tC and it worked pretty well and was WAY easier to install than the dynamat clone.

I like driving and I like my exhaust sound so much, that I hate talking on cell phones while I'm in my Evo (and plus I don't want to end up in the nearest local ditch) hahaha...

Get an X with bluetooth (or a headunit with bluetooth) and you're good to go there nawaz Handsfree bluetooth calling is way better than trying to hang onto the phone!

i have sound proofing in my car. And it only smells for a couple days following install. After that, it's odorless.
