Geez...this is literally the first time I've been on EvoM in 3 years. Got tired of the bull**** that was going on this site, and with the Austin scene in general. Anyway Jake, that would be my car you saw since I live and work in South Austin.

 

I'm still somewhat new here, whats wrong with the austin scene (other than that you can't seem to find it)? Are you active elsewhere?

I see random other evos around, and have mentioned them here, but it doesn't seem like many people get the updates to the thread, so I stopped posting them

 

I rarely spot other Evos and forgot about this thread! I spotted a WW Evo X getting gas at the Speedy Stop at the corner of 2222 and 620 I was turning south off 2222 heading towards Mansfield Dam Park in an OB Evo. I was hanging out with some Hyundai Gen Coupes for their Texas meetup. Pretty fun drive plus we scored some time at H2R for like $65 apiece.

Love the username, my friend and I used to use that in place of any error message that made no sense. Even after it was explained to us what it meant, it was too good to abandon.

I'm in a yellow 8 with cf hood. I go by 620/2222 on my way out to volente (I stop at the shell on 2222). Fun drive if you take volente from bullick hollow left all the way around the loop to anderson mill (I live just north of there, so its a nice long drive home when I'm not in a rush). Only thing that sucks is getting stuck behind a slow old person or boater who won't move.

Not familiar with H2R, and haven't tracked my car since getting it in april (though I'd like to). Post here next time theres a meet. I got a kid coming soon so no guarantee I'll make it in the near future but it will be good to rebuild the austin scene, even if merged with other types of car.

Spotted this on Lamar pulling into Frugal Media Whassap! I was omw to dump some oil over at O'Reillys

 

Spotted that car Tuesday on i35 broken windshield well cracked evo 8 RS? I also spotted 2 blue evo 10's and 1 back evo 10 plus a white evo 9. The 9 was in Round Rock near the HEB 1 blue evo and the black on i35 heading north just passing under 183 and the last blue evo was near barton creek mall.

 

Might have been me near barton creek I work in Westlake right behind there.

 

Who's got the other yellow 8 near burnet/183?

 

Monday or Tuesday? I was in that area monday morning.

 

We should have an Austin area Evo meetup somewhere central. Get some Trudys and a Mexmart or something.

 

We had meets but some moved others traded in, we still meet on Saturday it's about to be moved again we have alot of dumb people doing stupid things so unless some people can grow up it will keep getting moved around but it's always on 183. I haven't been in the evo just the box but every time I dont drive the evo I see other evos weird.......

 

I'm not so much about standing around in parking lots as I am sitting at a table with maybe a a smaller group of people (in air conditioning) and drinking/eating and talking about Evos. I don't personally know anyone else with an Evo in town.

 

The cops around 183 on weekends are pretty bad about finding the racers so a smaller scene with Evos would be good. My friend Josh drives a white 8 RS with a JDM rear and I drive an EB 8, one of the only EB's here that I'm aware of. We both live in CP, I work on 360. I've seen a few LY's around, none with CF hood. There is a newer white X in CP that I've seen a few times also and a few other others out here in CP
