Also forgot, you will need a helmet. They DO NOT have helmet rentals at ECR, so make sure you get one before you go. A DOT or M (motorcycle) helmet is OK, but I recommend for long term you purchase an SA2005 rated (automotive, multiple impact, fire resistant) helmet.

He lives!

There's still time to get in if you want! I know the new steed isn't in yet, but you should bring the IX out!

After track day plans - Dinner/Drag race in Denton

After the Eagles Canyon track day we went to Cutie Pies in Decatur. It was actually a pretty nice cruise out there, and the scenary was great. Cutie Pies is actually in "The town Square" looked like a movie. Took some good photos and had a great meal. Just putting the idea out there. Also some may want to go to Denton and check out the drag races. Either way I will see everyone tomorrow. Can't wait.

I will also try and find my extra helmet for anyone in need.

For those of you that have been to ECR before, what's your recommendation for coilover setup? How stiff do I want it? If the track is bumpy then I'll want it a touch softer.

I should have written down the settings I used at MSR. That felt pretty good. Oh well.

I checked with ECR and their 93 octane is $2.50 a gallon. The higher octane stuff is $7.50.

@ $2.50, that's 35-50 cents more per gallon than around here, but I bet it doesn't have ethacrapanol in it... So plan accordingly boys.

There is a station ten minutes away from the track.
