A friend of mine found this place. Apparently an AWD tuner has setup shop in Austin. They're doing a dyno day on their AWD dyno this Saturday 9/27. Does anyone have info on these guys or is anyone planning to attend the dyno day?

 

I think MZM is up on Howard Lane now, across from the FedEx depot. I went to their shop a few months back when they were still on Lamar (near ProTech). They seem alright to me, but all I've done is talk with them for a few minutes.

 

I'll go if the price is right, anyone else?

 

I'm doing the Evolution Phase 1 AutoX school on Saturday. There's not much chance I'd be able to make it.

I think I'll be going to MZM next weekend, they are offering very resonable prices at $50 for three pulls. Are yuo coming Runnyolk?

 

yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm planning to go. The pricing sheet makes it sound like if there's less than 10 ppl that there's going to be an additional $25 "hookup fee". Anyway, I'm gonna call and find out what that's all about. Other than that, I'd love to hear about the autoX school as well..

 

$50 for 3 pulls isnt bad at all...do you need to make an appointment or can people just show up?

i really wanna see what my baby will pull stock and check out the shop since its only 2 miles away from my apartment.

No appointments necessary, they say it's first come first serve. Anyway, I'm planning to go there around 9am when they open, who else is going?

The school is by paid reservation only. I don't think it's a spectator event.

The phase 1 autox school is kinda out of my budget @ $220! They still have an open spot for saturday, but I am going to MZM.
