So this was the 1st week with my new set of wheels on my car and I've been real careful not to hit any potholes/curbs as I always am. Yesterday, my wife took the Evo to go to the Doc. while I took her Civic Si to get her inspection done. After we both left I called her and joked with her about not hitting any curbs (she has a habit of hitting curbs once in a while ). So everything was cool and I made it back to the house with her inspection done and after a while she also made it back home. As soon as she walked in the door I saw a weird look in her face....The she said: "You promise you won't be mad"!?!? Turns out she had hit a curb with rear passenger wheel while trying to avoid getting hit by a crazy driver... At first I though the wheel was probably going to have a big dent on it, but it didn't turn out to be that bad. It's a long scrape on the outer lip of the wheels, but it doesn't appear to be that deep. Like I said it's not too bad, but just the fact that it's there bothers me So my question is....Does anyone in Houston know of any good shops where they can fix minor damage like this? I've found a few through google, but I wanted to see if anyone can recommend any places instead. Any advice is appreciated.
