Exclamation HELP!!! possible water in motor

i ran through a large mass of water trying to get home. I took off my intercooler and piping and got all the water out of them which wasn't much. I got new plugs and gapped them to the right gap. The car runs fine up until 15lbs of boost now it starts to pop chug and the boost fluxuates like crazy. I can still hit taget boost 20lbs. but it fluxuates from 20 to 15. i got it scanned today and only came up with cylinder 4 missfire, and 02 sensor dead (that's been dead forevor), i changed the coils around and drove it and it still picked up the cylinder 4 missfire. I'm confused.

go to the store and put 1/3 gas tank, 1/3 valve cover, 1/3 intake manifold... have saved too many motors to count... good luck...

Hmm....Sounds like it would be a little worse if there was actually water in the combustion chamber(s), especially if you're still nailing 15-20lbs of boost. Try some other things to narrow it down, boost leak test, leak down, log it, etc.

pull the plugs crank it and see if water jets out of the spark plug sockets.

Since the engine runs, and boost is working up to 15 lbs, how could there possibly still be water sitting in the combustion chamber? It would have been long since forced out the exhaust port -- don't you think?

check your compression you might have bent a rod in cylinder #4 which in turn may be causing your misfire due to low compression.
