Having a problem

Ok, I recently got tuned. The car runs great from the initial gear. If I punch it in second the A/F's are 11:0 -11:3. But if I shift into third it starts to run rich. 10:0-10:5. If I punch it from third its fine. but when I shift into fourth it goes back to running rich. 1-2, 4-5 does the same thing. Mod list is in Sig. Thanks for any help.

Did he say what the problem was? Was it in the tune?

yes it is the tune. your tuner didn't turn off lean spool. turning it off now will warrant a new tune though, because if you disable it, it will run super rich in every gear. once it is retuned with it turned off, the AFR's will be the same in every gear as you shift through them.

That is just one of the reasons that KevinD is the ONLY one to tune my car. Over 70k miles on his tunes and I've never had an issue!!

Lol... i just stumbled onto this thread... See, i told you about the lean spool... Its a normal function, but if you want it to stop, deactivate it and re-tune. The lean mixture at idle can be fixed by rescaling the 680cc injectors and watching the fuel trims (low) which should tell you if its close to being correct. It shows you how much the ECU is trying to compensate to correct the mixture.
