I have the tein s.tech's and i'm pretty happy with them. I love the way they look, but the ride quality has definately gotten worse (guess you can't expect much when lowering a car almost 2 inches, though). As far as handling goes, umm...maybe i have a little less body roll? Honestly, I can't really tell...but then again, i've never tracked the car minus one autox. Also the roads here don't really suffice for spirited driving.
I knew I wanted to rid my wheel gap in the fender as well as not spend that much. With that in mind, the tein's work great.
As far as local vendors for evo's....I can't speak from experience, but I believe there is a shop down in the dallas area. I think their website is evo8.com.
Thus ends my testimonial....hope this helps some.

The S-Techs definately drop the car very low...the H-Techs only drop it an inch.
There is a thread in the Wheel forum about spring rates and drops...it is stickied so I would check there first.
