Okies?

Been reading these forums for a bit now...am I the only Okie that has an Evo (on EvoM.net)? Surely not.

Poor bastard. States like this don't do well with the Evo. Most people around here prefer Camaro, Mustang and full size pick-ups... like the Ford F-350000000000000000000000000 & 1/2. With 180000 inch super swampers and 300 ft lift kits and a Cummins 14.6 liter turbo diesel. They like to where big cowboy hats and pretend the are still in the old west.
I'm not from around here, so it's easy to make these observations.

EvoG8r, hey thats cool. I am up at the City all the time it seems. What are you planning on doing with your car if anything? Additionally, you know of any twisty tracks around that we can do some runs on? I am looking to go down to Texas soon for that.

As far as what to do with my car.
In the near future, I'm interested in updating the ECU, install an MBC and change out the exhaust. I'd also like to upgrade the interior.
Down the road, I plan to upgrade the Turbo with a bigger compressor and then change out the plumbing along with the intercooler. Right now I just need to concentrate on paying off the car.

A good road out by Lawton would have to be the Wildlife refuge past Mt Scott. I'm new to OKC, so I'm not sure what would be good locally. I was stationed at Fort Sill until August...

I'm up for it, I have no problem going down to Lawton. I've got friends and family in the area. Also know a lot of the local import tuner types down there.

Where did you all get your Evos from?

Also, if you want a good local forum, try www.ok-speed.com.
