Tx2k12!!!
Yalls business car on my evo Friday night!
we did pretty well down there. had the highest HP evo on the dyno (josh with his 886whp) i believe, had the fastest evo in the 60-130 competition (6th fastest out of everything there), and apparently the two cars i finished friday night laid waste to a slew of very fast cars every night.
i heard both JMS' 900+whp drag cars broke on the first pass each at the drag race. apparently they also called out a few of our guys the night before but wanted to race after the drag race so that never happened.

Black Mamba had a synchro problem, but was fixed they took the tranny out at the track and the car ran the next day. JMS Machine's crank sensor had an issue/freeze plug, was also replaced at the track and it's now the fastest Evo in Texas (9.5 @155mph). Between the two, they had a ton of passes down the track both Saturday and Sunday. After the event, both were issue free and will be going to the track again.
Here is proof, this guy was the only guy that went up to Jorge and Jorge politely turned down his offer and explained why:

Btw...How do you like your Jack's 5 spd?...Collin is looking into one...
I was down there. I was easy to spot... the guy from Washington with the killer sun burn.
I got to meet Jorge from JMS. He was very nice and a class act. He was very approachable, nice, and the least bit arrogant. I also saw their black car and their silver car make a few passes.
Black car had transmission issues and the silver car pushed out a freeze plug for the B/S delete and puked oil at the start line. They got the cars torn apart and put back together. I thought they had a great showing. Both cars were trapping above 147mph when I saw them. I think the Black car went 150+.
I didn't get to meet Josh Weismann, only saw his car. Also saw TaAce's car I think (BBY w/RX7 wheels on Hoosiers) couple other Evos as well.
Josh's car made 885whp which was pretty impressive. Didn't get to meet him.
I tuned Stu's Supra on stock appearing sequential twins (gt28r Hybrids)

It was nice getting to eat dinner with Nero. I met Tony Palo... Chris Black... Mitch McKee... Sharif (Forged)..Neil Sweitzer(sp?) among a slew of other people I've wanted to talk to. I had a great time and I think I'll be back next year with my Evo.

What? HAHAHAHAHA. You heard wrong, both made multiple passes before having issues. Also, neither of the owners from the shop called anybody out they were actually not street racing at all but preparing for the drag racing at Hennessey. Street racing as a shop owner is not very smart in my opinion, they made the right choice sticking to the track.

9.5 is pretty quick but i'll beat it after pikes peak if you want.
only took one try to beat the record last time
if your wondering what i'll run it with, it weighs 2600lbs with a full cage + driver, made 580whp on our mustang dyno at only 28psi. a little more boost and it should do high 600's which we know 750whp on our dyno is roughly 900 on JMS's. jorge is gonna have to tub it to beat me

congrats jorge on setting the record

No one called out your evos. They all came over to us saying they wanted to run and they declined. That's pretty much it. Don't you think if someone from Jms called out your evos that maybe they would have ran???
if i could do it again i would have done shep or buschur. from day one ive had this knocking noise in 1st gear that gets faster as i go faster and they said it might be a burr in the gear and to give it some time to go away. after a while it never went away and i tried contacting them but they never got back to me so i gave up. then last week before going to tx2k i changed my trans fluid and a there was a tooth or something on the magnet. ive never been to the track with this trans, and i havent even launched on it. just some spirited driving, i called them and and left a message and still nothing back. now i havent had any drving problems with the trans,it shifts fine and doesnt grind. but i will be sending the trans to buschur or shep from now on. And i bought a brand new trans from jacks with thier work done to it.
