Totally forgot to post pictures in this thread! I had only posted it in the NTEC section, lol.

Enjoy! (I was the guy in the only blue Evo and I brought the canopy to the dam which a lot of people got to enjoy while I was soaking up heat taking pictures )

Yeah, originally started as an evo/subie thing, but it wasnt posted on nasioc as it was suppose to.. 50+ cars would be easy if it were evo/subies. Looking forwarded to the next one, who ever wants to organize that one lol.. anyways, if you guys want to hit up 3-sisters cruise, is on June 30th!

Great pics. Thanks for taking those for the guys who couldnt make it. If my car wasnt in the shop it looks like I would have been the only AS X out there also.

We kind of missed the meet at the dam, but we made it to the Rudy's parking lot and it was full of Evos. It seemed like the X guys showed up in full force.

The cruise was awesome. I wish I could have finished the cruise. On a side note I took 1st in SM at my autocross event with only one run at Retama Park. Now I have to figure out why I cannot build boost.

What an awesome weekend! Great roads, good company, and fun times had by us

Thanks to everyone who made it out; we'll definitely have to do it again next summer and keep this as an annual event.

Agreed! While the location was great, it would be great to have a bit more shade due to the heat that was upon us. Only so many people could fit under my canopy! Perhaps maybe later in the year or earlier in the year when it's a bit cooler.

Either way it was a great turnout and Rudy's being literally 2 minutes down the road was a great lunch spot too!

I'm all for a change in seasons for cooler weather. It would be ideal if we could do it sometime when 70's are the norm; perfect for standing around outside and cruising with the windows down.

Maybe mid/late March? I like the idea of having the "Texas All-State meet/cruise" in Austin since it's somewhat central and is surrounded by fun roads.

Great pics! Cars with no front plates look clean. Are front plates not required in TX?

they are required, but recently they screwed up in legislature and accidentally did away with the penalty for no front plate tickets. So they can give you a ticket, but when you go to court there is no fine or penalty for it so it gets dropped. Even when it was required, nobody runs one just cause they're ugly. Although the DPS love to pull you over for it.

I remember when they first started keeping track of warnings and I got pulled over for no front plate in my truck and I would always play dumb and say I didn't know it was required and they would give me a written warning and I would be on my way... well when I got pulled over after this new system kicked in I tried to play dumb and the State Trooper said "well it says here you've been pulled over 6 times in the past year for it"

LOL!

I don't mind going to court at all so first thing I'm gonna do when I move there this year is remove my front plate.
