So we need to figure out a place to meet up so we can all cruise up there together. Obviously we can either take 71 or 290 to get there so the meet up should be convenient to whichever route we decide on.

I'm thinking there would be more traffic on 290 plus it's a little on the boring side. 71 offers better "scenery" and I would think less traffic.

What's everyones input?

Meet up at Edwards Cinema I10 and 610 in front of Jillians. Roll out will be 7-7:30a. Please post in here and let me know if you will be meeting up. Route will be down I10 to 71.

 

Which day, Saturday? I'll probably head out Friday and chill in atx till the meet, but I recommend 71.. better roads, less traffic and less cops. Just be careful around columbia and bastrop

 

i recommend 71. it is also the 695 mile marker exit. way less small cities to travel through. better roads. less cops. NEVER go 290. unless you are a fool.

We need to get organized in town before we plan another one of these

 

The all state meet was planned two months in advance. I heard some the lamest excuses from people as to why NOT to attend.

And I dont mean legit things like. I'm out if town for a businesses trip, or a family wedding, or I'm serving my weekend doing military training.
