Wheel color opinions???

Ok, so my blue EVO is stock and I am trying to get it ready for the drift meet on April 10th. I spoke with some friends of mine at SGP and got a contact on powercoating. The cost is 75 to 120 per wheel, they need to see them to see how much it will be exactly, but I can't decide on a color. I saw the red one at teaworks, which had bronze colored stock wheels, when it dawned on me not to buy the TE37's, but to just powdercoat my stock ones. After lingering around with this, I thought I should do some sort of wild color. I am stuck right now on an orange color, similar to the Pascal Picotte team color (He is a rider in the SS motorcycle circuit). I am leaning for the orange, but yellow would be nice too. A solar yellow like the nissans, not like the EVO. Any and all input will be appreciated. BTW I should have my c/f hood by the time the meet comes. Later!

Oh dear god.....plz don't powdercoat your stock rims yellow or orange.

I would recommend gunmetal.

C'mon man!! We need to shake things up alittle. I remember a time when my v-8 buds said why put a turbo on my civic, it won't do any good against their v-8's. That was proven to be wayyyy wrong.

I'm so for substance over style, so, I would say something mean looking like gunmetal as well. Let's not get all "fast and furious"

Is it possible to polish the stock rims? that might add a bit more flash to them.

I've got to agree with the others, don't do the orange. I think you would regret it later.

I think gold/bronze would look great......too many EVO's have gunmetal wheels....by the way, polishing the wheels would be original and bad a$$.

Polish requires too much cleaning!! I only have 1800 miles on the car, and had to clean them more times than I would care to count. Maybe orange isn't the way to go.... what did she say on Sat polka dot scheme or something??
