Exhaust shield

I purchased the exhaust shield from LancerShop.com. It is a small sheet of stainless steel with 5 holes drilled in it. At first I was pissed off because it looked like crap (which it was) because the edges were not sanded down making it very sharp and also there was an uneven cut made on it on one side. The screws that came with it were a joke (1/4" self tapping)- they would have never worked! You have to bend the shield in place and then screw it tight with the screws. Anyway, I had to grind the shield even and smooth on my grinder to take out the rough edges and staighten the bad side, then drilled the holes with a drill. I had some stainless steel marine bolts and washers handy and used those instead of the crap they sent. Don't buy this unless you want to do a little extra work or ghetto your car. I'll be at the meet tomorrow it you want a look. westheimer and beltway 8.
