Are y'all meeting tonight? We might have a new member stopping by. He use to have a GTI 1.8T APR Stage 3 and now he has a BBY Evo.

 

Why'd he give up the GTi?

 

I really don't know. He is on evom as "Jorge T", maybe he can fill us in.

 

The reason I gave up on the GTI was that the chassis got maxed out to handle the power. The car was quick from a roll and a straight line, but even with coilovers the handling was mediocre compared to a stock EVO . The upgrade path was very limited and I got bored of it. Plus the EVO is soo much fun that I do not miss the power. I got mine at a killer price too.

I'm still selling the GTI, I could not wait , the BBY EVO was stuck to my head like that New Beetle comercial.

 

You're such a sell out Jorge. I'm glad you are happy with the Evo. I know I would get one if I could get out of my current car.

 

Hung, help me sell the GTI..it's over at Mike's, I'd hate to have to part it out.
