Well, it's official, as of next week my '03 Oz Rally Edition will have a new owner [ a female]. I've decided it's time to walk away from my lancer after owning it for five months. I've come to the conclusion that this car is a death trap for me, in the past five months it's been in three accidents.

1. on westheimer, a Saleen Mustang hits the back of my lancer and flees away.
2. a lady on I-10 slams into the back of my lancer in traffic, i was at a total stop and she was on her cell phone doing about 35mph and hit the back of me pushing me into the car infront of me.
3. driving down I-10 at 11:30pm and seeing a large dark object that was blended into the road, at the last second i noticed it, swerved out of the way but still ran the object over causing it to SNAP both right side rims and break my steering linkage as well as rip out the passenger side undercarriage and losing control of the car and slamming into the center barrier of I-10 at 60mph.

i've had three rocks hit the front windshield and send cracks all over the place, i've had objects come flying off other vehicles and hit the front of my car..the list goes on..i think it's time to walk away from it, i love my car to death but i've got a new family to think about and require getting rid of my toy so i can focus on them. i'll check the site out from time to time and see how everyone is doing..it was nice knowing you guys, take care..

Is it Only me or does it sound like your living a real life "final destination"

doesnt sound like the problem is ur lancer... sounds like people out there Suck at driving... they pretty much raped ur lancer with their POS driving skills.. that sucks man... well good luck with ur next car

 

good luck with another car! that really sucks though. I can't believe after that one reck on the highway it wasn't totaled!
