Austin area road trip September 25th

We don't have the route all planned yet, I'll post it when we get it, but I wanted to get the post out with plenty of time for people to decide if they want to join us.

Basically, there's a group of us (various cars Evo's, STi's, 350z's, Supra's, every so often a Vette or two) that get together and do some driving around the Austin area. We usually try for a nice, curvy route. We'll pick a good starting point that everyone can meet up at. We plan a stop someplace where we can catch a good lunch, then finish out the drive. Total "away from home" time ranges from 3 to 5 hours. Passengers are also welcome, we have a few folks who enjoy the ride. Driving style is pretty well dictated by group consensus. Nothing too wild or crazy, just out to enjoy driving.

As I said, we don't have the route fully planned out yet, I will post it once we have it all figured out. Just wanted to get it on folks radars early, in case anyone is interested.

Yep, saw that, but I have to balance "family time" and "evo time", trip up to Dallas is a bit too time consuming for me.

Ok, route is all planned out.

http://www.gofrom40.com/RoadTrips/25SeptDrive.htm

We're going to meet up at 9:30 AM at La Madeleine (701 Capital of Texas Hwy. S.) On 360, just south of where 2244 crosses over. We'll be heading south and looping around Canyon Lake. Lunch will be at Old Sattler Baking Company (they close at 1 on Saturday, part of the reason we're leaving out a little earlier than normal).

Live up in Cedar Park and commute to Round Rock. What are you usually driving?
